Darth Sidious - Hilt

This is a collection of 3d files design to build a replica of a lightsaber hilt for Darth Sidious. This is much smaller than a typical lightsaber as it is meant for one hand only. This design is also electronics compatible, you can add a sound board and lights for the full experience. However it is not meant for dueling, only display.

There is additional hardware you need to complete the assembly:

3 - button screws 2-56 x 3/16" : https://www.mcmaster.com/92949A076/

2 - set screws 6-32 x 3/16": https://www.mcmaster.com/94355A143/

1 -  low profile hex head 6-32 x 1/4" : https://www.mcmaster.com/92220A141/

2 - led bezels for 5mm leds: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/outstanding-unidades-0-197-Emitting-Holder/dp/B07D9JL55L/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_es_US=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=5+mm+led+bezel&qid=1616780388&sr=8-5

2  - 5mm Leds (green and red)

For a light up saber you will need to source all the electronics and you will need a 7/8" blade. I recommend sourcing them from Saberbay (look for them here in etsy) o the custom saber shop. There is a special emitter base file (2) that is meant to be the blade holder. If you are not making a fully functional saber then just print the emitter base file 1

I recommend printing in ABS like resin so there is less sanding required before painting.

Note: I did not add any holes for push buttons as many builders have different ideas on how and where to add them. Most of them put them behind the read and green leds.

Thanks and have fun
